Who is responsible for your information?

This website is operated by Jean Guevara, an independent presentation designer based in Venezuela. Questions about this policy or personal information can be sent to contact@byjeangd.com.

Information that may be collected

When you use the contact form, the website may collect your name, email address, selected project type, project information, message and the consent choices you make. This information is provided directly by you.

A separate blog subscription form may collect an email address in the future. That subscription function is not currently connected to an email delivery service.

How information is used

Information submitted through the contact form may be used to:

• Respond to commercial inquiries and questions.
• Understand the context, audience and requirements of a potential project.
• Manage conversations about proposals, availability and project next steps.
• Maintain reasonable records of correspondence.

If you explicitly choose to subscribe to articles, your email address may later be used to send occasional content about presentation design and visual communication.

Contact inquiries and marketing are separate

Sending a project inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. The contact consent is required so that Jean can respond to your request. Newsletter consent is optional and must be selected separately.

If newsletter delivery is enabled in the future, every marketing email will provide a way to unsubscribe. You may also withdraw your newsletter consent by contacting Jean.

Legal bases

Information is processed when you give consent and when processing is necessary to respond to a request that you initiated. If a professional relationship develops, some information may also be needed to prepare or perform a specific agreement.

Service providers

Website hosting and form delivery may involve Netlify. Supabase may be used for data storage, Resend may be used for email delivery and an email provider may process correspondence when the corresponding functions are configured.

Supabase, Resend and optional analytics are not presented here as currently active. Before any of these services is enabled, its role and relevant privacy information should be reviewed and documented.

International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries outside Venezuela. When external services are enabled, reasonable steps will be taken to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards for the information involved.

Data retention and security

Inquiry information will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage a potential or active project, meet legal obligations and maintain appropriate business records. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymized.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures will be used to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access to the personal information held about you, request a correction, ask for deletion where appropriate or withdraw consent for future processing. Requests can be sent to contact@byjeangd.com.

Cookies and analytics

Essential browser storage may be used to remember privacy preferences. Optional analytics and marketing technologies must not be activated before consent. More information is available in the Cookie Policy.

Children’s privacy

This website and its professional services are not directed to children. Jean does not knowingly seek personal information from children through this website.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when website functions, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
